Free music promotion for your mass metal bands [29 Jan 2012|01:37pm]
mikec0013

I am a new youtube director specializing in videos containing videogame footage/strategy guides. I live in Massachusetts and want to hook up some local bands with some free promoting for their music. I will be adding music to game footage to add some energy to the videos. At this time, metal's popularity is on the rise in these types of videos throughout the gaming community. At this time, this offer is going out to MA bands only before moving on to everyone else depending on the feedback I get. I'm in the beginning stages of organizing my youtube channel and creating videos. If you are interested in getting your music out there, act fast and send me an email and let me know. I have videos already waiting to have music added to them. All you'll have to do is send the music, and if it'll work for the videos, I'll do the rest. I can add any website links to the video as well so that viewers will know how they can get your music/merchandise. You will be reaching a young and energetic demographic and your music will be heard worldwide. The heaviest exposure will be to the east coast but nearly all of my videos have had viewers from europe, canada, and even australia. This is a great opportunity to get some great MA Metal out there to be heard.

Email Mike at mikec0013@yahoo.com. Feel free to inquire if you have any questions. To check out the channel the music will be going on check out youtube.com/user/thesprtnwarrior.

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to your responses. Take care.

-Mike

Drummer needed for a melodeath and black metal influenced band from Quincy.

Don't worry about getting started with us too soon, we're just starting writing music and one of our guitar players is rebuilding his guitar. Contact me on AIM - m4t4me. Serious applicants only, someone with a bit of experience and skill. We currently have 2 guitarists (rhythm and lead) and a bassist. Might get a singer, probably just gonna have us singing though.

Influences include Hypocrisy, Dissection, Amon Amarth, Death, All That Remains, Old Man's Child, In Flames, ...

We range in age from 20-22. Only looking for regional shows at the moment due to college... fuckin' college.

Of Blessings and Burdens has three brand new songs up on our Myspace page for all of you to enjoy. Their all newly written and recorded by Dave at his home studio 4 AM Studios. We're all very proud of these tracks and are excited to show them to the world as this marks the beginning in a new chapter for Of Blessings and Burdens. We hope to hear everyones feedback and expect you all to enjoy the tracks.

These three tracks are some of the things you can expect on the new Of Blessings and Burdens record that we are currently writting new material for. We all know that since the departure of Ryan, many are unsure of the direction the band will take. This is sort of a preview of that. We also just couldn't wait to get some new material out for you all.

So please enjoy the tracks. Our new material is pretty much pooring out as we write, and before you know it a new record will be out. We just hope you are as excited as we are. So hit up our Myspace page.

So I'm getting rid of my Line 6 Spider II head, along with the FBV4 head, and my Ibanez S470DXQM. The head is 150 watts with tons of amp models and a numerous plethora of sounds. Musicians friend sells the Spider II head for $399 new and the FBV4 Footswitch for $74.99 new. Both are in great condition and have been gigged out. Their both still running beautifully. Listen to some sound clips on the musicians friend page for the head. The fbv4 footswitch is a perfect match for the head, seeing as the head has four programable channels. I also have the directions for both the head and the footswitch so no worries on how to work them. I'm looking for about $250 for both, or best offer. I must note that there are a few little scratches on one part of the front panel of the head. Nothing major though.
Pictures of Spider IICollapse )
As for the guitar, it's an Ibanez S470DXQM guitar in charcoal brown. It looks just as amazing as it plays and feel. It's only about 3 or 4 months old. It's extremely light and great for anything and everything metal. But while it's all metal, it's pickups also make it very versitile by giving you a various amount of sound to work with. The pictures don't do it justice. I'd hate to let it go but I need the cash. I've taken very great care of it, always keeping it in a bag if not playing it. I kept up the fret board and cleaning the guitar frequently. Quite simply, it plays like a dream. I'm looking for about $300 for it. It sells on musicians friend and other place for $594 new. So I would call that a steal, because it's pretty much in mint condition.

Pictures suck because they were taken with my camera phone.
